This lamp was my first experiment in ambient lighting using RGB LEDs. It was created while I was still in high school before I had any formal electrical engineering training. I believe at one point I had it serially controlled from a computer, but I also tried out an analog system of manipulating color proportions (R/B, B/G, R/G). I used a piece of tracing paper as a light diffuser. I had hoped to eventually integrate this with a real time clock and mp3 player to be used as an alarm clock in the morning.

This project has long since been scrapped with the LEDs being pulled for other projects.
